McCann Bristol is looking for an ambitious Head of Social Media who is up to the challenge of delivering award-winning work and with a passion for developing new business and a hunger to grow.

You’ll be joining our Bristol team who are committed to delivering stand-out, modern work for blue-chip clients across a wide range of disciplines including planning, research, creative, media, digital and PR.

You will also be a part of one of the biggest and fastest growing regional PR and social operators in our own right, with 60+ operators in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Milton Keynes and Leeds. And, as a part of the senior team, you’ll have a say in how we build on our success and create even greater clout in the future.

As Head of Social, you’ll be responsible for leading and delivering campaigns across existing clients, as well as working closely with our new business team to scale our social media offering in Bristol.

We’re looking for a confident individual who has a great track record of developing strategic social programmes and delivering outstanding results - ideally with brand experience across food and drink/confectionary, consumer tech, retail, housing and higher education/student markets.

You will need to demonstrate a passion for storytelling, expertise in shared and paid media and in applying latest techniques to deliver meaningful work with commercially relevant results. You will need a keen eye for the detail coupled with a strategic view of where your clients should be heading.

Your client relationship skills will be second-to-none and you’ll be passionate about helping to grow and develop the team. As a senior hire within our multi-disciplinary PR, social and influencer team, you’ll also be adept at pitching for new business, spotting and converting opportunities to grow current clients and managing client finances.
