Nearly two million Britons are addicted to gambling, or gambling at high risk levels. If you live in Bristol, the odds are especially against you. The big three bookies wouldn’t put their name to addressing the risks. So, we did it for them.
We uncovered words related to gambling addiction hidden in the bookies’ logos. We turned them into a hard-hitting campaign for mental health counselling charity, Changes Bristol. We then created our own high street betting shop, that was actually a drop-in counselling centre. By taking on the giants of bookmaking, we helped change lives in Bristol.
